This fine user-grade 1940s (post-war) Gold Tech includes the popular "fat handle" as well as its original case. The case has seen some wear, but the razor is in very nice condition, particularly on the top cap, where the Gillette diamond logo is pristine. Pretty enough to just put on a shelf and look at, but then you'd have to forego decades of smooth, mild shaves with it.
The razor sits swaddled in the blue velvet of a fairly well-preserved case, though someone at some point made what looks like the numeral 2 in marker on one corner of the case's inside cover (see photos).
The vintage Gillette Thin blades included are period appropriate but not original, and, as their edges have suffered the ravages of time, should probably not be used.
